Richard Reese

Executive Chairman of the Board

Richard Reese is executive chairman of the board at Iron Mountain, focused on driving the company’s new services agenda and advising on strategy and other business matters, while performing his duties as chairman of the board. He served as chairman and CEO until June 2008. Reese joined Iron Mountain as president in 1981 when the company was privately held and posted $3 million in annual revenue. During his 27-year tenure as CEO, Iron Mountain grew to more than $2.7 billion in 2007 annualized revenue and became the leader in information protection and storage services. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Reese lectured on entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School and provided consulting services to small- and medium-sized emerging companies. He is a former president and director of PRISM International, a trade association of records management companies. Reese holds bachelor's and master's degrees in ceramic engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Bob Brennan became president and chief executive officer of Iron Mountain in June 2008, after having been the company's president and chief operating officer since November 2005. As president and CEO, Brennan develops and implements global operating strategies to drive growth, enhance customer service, and ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization. He oversees the company's operations in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific, the worldwide Digital business unit, as well as all enterprise support functions including human resources, information technology, security and global standards. Brennan first served as Iron Mountain's president of North America when he joined in November 2004 through the acquisition of Connected Corporation, where he was chief executive officer. Prior to Connected, Brennan was a general manager with Cisco; he also served as CEO of American Internet prior to its acquisition by Cisco. Earlier in his career, Bob held a series of increasingly senior general management positions at MicroAmerica and Merisel, both leaders in the distribution of technology products. Brennan holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Manhattan College.
 
Harold Ebbighausen

President, North America


Harold Ebbighausen was appointed president, North America in September 2008. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s physical records management, data protection and recovery, and information destruction businesses in North America. Since joining Iron Mountain in 1996, Ebbighausen has held several senior positions, first serving as vice president of Data Protection Services. Two years later, in 1998, he became president of Off-Site Data Protection and helped to establish Iron Mountain as the market leader in data protection services. In 2004, he was appointed group president, North American Service Delivery and then group president, North American Operations in 2006. Previously, Ebbighausen was vice president of Document Management Services with INSCI Corporation. Ebbighausen attended Iona College.

Brian McKeon

Brian McKeon joined Iron Mountain as chief financial officer in April 2007, and is responsible for the full range of finance activities including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, legal and investor relations. McKeon is a CPA with nearly 20 years of experience as a finance executive. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, he was EVP of Finance and Administration and CFO of The Timberland Company, where he served in a similar capacity for seven years. Before that, McKeon spent more than eight years at PepsiCo, during which time he held several executive positions in finance and strategic planning, culminating in his being named vice president, finance of the Pepsi-Cola North America division. McKeon received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 
Joseph DeSalvo

Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer


Joseph DeSalvo joined the company as senior vice president and chief security officer (CSO) in January 2007, with more than 16 years of combined experience in law enforcement, corporate security and investigative services. A former FBI special agent, DeSalvo's security experience includes serving as head of security at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and as vice president of corporate security at Bankers Trust Company. Most recently, DeSalvo provided security expertise as a consultant to companies in the financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries, the focus of his practice being the development of strategic plans for his clients' corporate security and safety, fraud prevention, information security, crisis management and disaster recovery programs. DeSalvo holds an MBA in finance from the University of Hartford and a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He also holds executive leadership certifications from Georgetown University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
 
Marc Duale

Marc Duale was appointed president, international in September 2008, after overseeing Iron Mountain’s business in Europe for two years. A French native, Duale joined Iron Mountain in May 2006 with more than 25 years of international leadership experience. Prior to Iron Mountain, Duale was the managing director of Reuter's Asia Pacific operations. Before Reuters, Duale served as COO of DHL Worldwide Express' Asia-Pacific and Middle East business, with responsibilities spanning more than 50 countries. He was previously director of DHL's business in Western Europe and North Africa. Duale also brings operational experience in high volume, service-based businesses. At American Express, Duale served in many capacities – in both New York and Paris – including vice president of strategic planning, vice president of marketing and sales, and general manager for corporate cards and travel services. He also spent several years as a business management consultant and project manager for The Boston Consulting Group. Duale's academic achievements include an engineering degree from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 
John Kenny

Executive Vice President, Corporate Development


John Kenny was named executive vice president of corporate development in April 2007. In this role, Kenny is responsible for the strategy and execution of Iron Mountain's real estate and corporate development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and global expansion. Previously, Kenny served as Iron Mountain's executive vice president and chief financial officer from 1997 to 2007, during which time the Company experienced sustained periods of remarkable growth and profitability. Kenny joined Iron Mountain in 1991 and held several operating positions before becoming vice president of mergers and acquisitions and initiating the Company's strategic acquisition program in 1994. Before joining Iron Mountain, Kenny was a vice president with CS First Boston Merchant Bank in New York, where he was responsible for risk capital investments. He has also served as a director and as treasurer of PRISM International. Kenny holds a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
 
William Brown

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer


William Brown was appointed chief information officer in September 2008 and oversees the company's deployment of information technology to serve critical business objectives. He has overall responsibility for core systems development, computing services and service provisioning for Iron Mountain customers. Joining Iron Mountain in August 2005, Brown has more than 25 years of management experience in information technology, operations/logistics and electronic commerce. Prior to Iron Mountain, he was a co-founder and executive vice president of PCs Compleat, a PC retailer/distributor acquired by CompUSA. He has also held senior management positions at PC Connection, Send.com, JWP/Businessland and Merisel. Brown holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Bridgewater State College and an MBA from Babson College.
 
Ramana Venkata

President, Iron Mountain Digital


Ramana Venkata was appointed president of Iron Mountain Digital, the technology arm of Iron Mountain, in November 2009. He is responsible for architecting the strategy and execution of the digital business unit, which is the world's leading provider of digital information management services for data protection and recovery, digital archiving and eDiscovery. Venkata most recently served as chief operating officer of Iron Mountain Digital, where he was responsible for structuring the Company’s next phase of growth, with an approach of integrating its services into a holistic solution suite. Venkata joined Iron Mountain in 2007 through its acquisition of the eDiscovery firm Stratify, Inc., which he founded and ran as chief executive officer. Venkata founded Stratify in 1999 and built the company to be the fastest-growing and leading provider of technology-enabled Electronic Data Discovery services to AmLaw 200 law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. Earlier in his career, Venkata served at Intel Corporation working on data mining methodologies and applications. He completed five years of Ph.D. research in scientific computing and computational mathematics at Stanford University, holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
